The Artist’s Journey

I Am A Contemporary Artist

I am a contemporary abstract artist working with acrylic, modelling paste, plaster casts, cut mirrors, gemstones, and gold foil to create richly textured, multidimensional artworks. My practice explores themes of energy, spirituality, abundance, inner transformation, and emotional connection, drawing inspiration from symbolism, nature, intuition, and the unseen layers of human experience.

Before fully dedicating myself to my own artistic practice, I spent 17 years working within some of the UK’s most respected cultural institutions, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum, and Somerset House, where I worked as a Gallery Curator Assistant. This long immersion in museum collections, exhibitions, and curatorial environments deeply influenced my visual language and strengthened my passion for developing my own artistic voice.

Through layered surfaces, sculptural textures, reflective materials, and tactile processes, my paintings invite viewers to slow down, engage with light, depth, and perception, and experience moments of reflection and emotional resonance. Mirrors introduce symbolism and self-reflection, gemstones bring a sense of energy and connection, while textured materials create a dialogue between permanence, movement, and intuition.

My work has been exhibited internationally, including participation in the Beyond Borders Exhibition at Museo del Mar, Santa Pola, and collaborations with City Mortgages Club Ltd.

Alongside my artistic practice, I am developing Draw for Happiness — a mindful creative experience using art, colour, and intuitive expression to encourage calm, reflection, and reconnection in busy modern life.

My aim is to create work that resonates both visually and emotionally — art that offers beauty, atmosphere, contemplation, and transformation.
